I haven't updated this in ages (2 years actually) ... where do I begin? It's December 28th 2012 and I'm procrastinating doing some work...

I applied for a Story Artist position at Pixar in April, 6 months later I got the nicest rejection letter from them. But I wasn't ready (and am still not) for a position like in most ways. I'm still currently working at IEEE. I'm also working on my own cartoon and trying to make some more comics.

Allyson and I are still doing great. We recently adopted a little bunny rabbit named Bonnie. She's adorable! She was originally in an apartment complex but while inspecting for hurricane Sandy, they told the owner he can't have the rabbit. Allyson's friend Tara knew the owner and knew we were thinking of adopting a bunny, so soon enough we had her in our own apartment! After we had our power on that is, we lost power for just about two weeks. We were couch surfing at my parents and brothers place for a while.

In September Allyson really surprised me, she threw me a surprise party at Silverball Pinball museum! It was beyond wonderful - words cannot describe how much fun it was, I was truly surprised. It was amazing. :D

In October there was Hurricane Sandy (mentioned above) - our friends Pat & Tara stayed with us during the storm, which was good, we felt more safe together. My manager announced her retirement and with that the hopes of a promotion or raise flew out the window.

In November - Barack Obama was re-elected president in November (thankfully) and the world did not end as the half-found Mayan calendar predicted... or however that goes.

December - Christmas has come and gone but was a lot of fun for me. It was stressful, but it was fun seeing family and giving gifts to everyone. I got a lot of neat things as well. Allyson had a bit of a stressful time, her Dad was in the hospital for something (we think maybe food poisoning) but he's out now - he went home Christmas afternoon.

My Aunt Jeanne just got an iPhone 5 - she's jumping into a new modern world! I played a bit of Minecraft with my friend Todd. My friend Chris recently got his own apartment, and Todd just finished the 2nd of two jobs. I'm very proud of them.

Allyson is currently a bit sick, but she's been resting all day, so we both hope she'll be better in time for New Years!

Well... I may not remember to update this in a few years, so if you want to see what I'm up to maybe checkout my photoblog. I try to update one photo a day, I'm a bit behind but hopefully I'll catch up. http://stevesphotos.tumblr.com :)

So I haven't updated in a long time. Got the job at IEEE and Allyson and I have been together a bit over 9 months. Things are going great, work can be stressful at times, but work is work.

Well there's a 99% chance that my job here at IEEE will continue and that I will go from a Temp to a Perm. :) Yay!

Let's see anything new? Christmas is coming along. I got some awesome gifts for people this year. I'm happy and excited. Allyson and I are doing great and she's just as awesome as ever and I love her so much.

Just a little update, work is a bit busy, but the times are exciting. Listening to my 60GB iPod... notice it's skipping a bit - may be the audio files or the iPod itself. I hope it's not the iPod, it's fine otherwise and I don't need an excuse to buy another Apple product. :P

So since I last wrote I got a job! Working at IEEE (Also where my Mom happens to work) I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm working with their site as well as helping them here and there with other technical things. I like it a lot and all the people here are really nice. I recently turned 23 last month, 23 on the 23rd of September! Fancy huh? We had a surprise party for my Grandma (Dad's Mom) who turned 90 (also on my birthday) it was a lot of fun and it was great to have everyone there, Allyson, Mary and Dana also made it. :)

Right now I'm listening to a CD mix Allyson made for me for our 3 months. :) It's fantastic so far, every song flows into the other flawlessly and it was so sweet of her to make it. I love the little jellyfish she drew on the cover. She also made me some spiced peach bread (which I took a nibble of before coming to work and it was great!) Unfortunately I left it at home (as I knew I would... stupid forgetfulness) but no worries, I'll have some tomorrow, I'm sure it'll make a delicious breakfast... no more bagels for me! :)

Apple released a new 27" iMac, that's a pretty damn big screen! :O It has a video input option which is nice, I wonder if you can watch HD content on it and not just plug a computer into it. Things with Allyson and I are going splendidly, I love her sooo much and she's fantastic, amazing, thoughtful and so cute. :)

Anyway I suppose I should get back to doing what I was doing...

Whee testing out this live journal iPhone app, pretty nice! :) Today I went to englishtown auction/flea market by me. I got some cool things. One guy had two Indiana jones figures I was looking for, they were only $6 in total. I also stopped at a garage sale and for $6 I got two office chairs, a USB keyboard with USB hub, a Clerks VHS tape that was signed, and an old Coldplay X&Y cd.

The previous day I got some Ethernet cables, a cheap old pc and a Ventures record for my Mom. I also found an original Xbox, it was $21.86 with the video cable, I had to haggle with the guy so he would give me the cable, I even gave him the only change I had, what a weirdo haha. I got home and softmodded it and it runs great! :)

Later my dad re did the driveway so we stayed off and kept the cats inside. Mom is away on business to Switzerland! She sent me some photos, seems like she's having a good time. I'm at Allyson's apartment now ready to go to sleep. Night! :)

Ok I haven't updated in ages. Basically nothing too much to talk about, and I keep forgetting. Oh well.

In October I went to Disney World, I haven't been since I was a kid in 1998, so that was a lot of fun. Later I stopped in Kentucky to visit a good friend which was a nice little trip. Recently nothing much has been going on. I've been doing freelance graphics work for various people and companies for money on the side.

Recently we purchased our first fake Christmas tree, it's pretty nice, and a lot less messy than a real tree. Plus it'll last a lot longer. Today I cleaned up my room a bit. That's really about it. Exciting huh? Now you know why I have hardly any updates. See yah in 2008!

I haven't posted here in ages. Lots of things have happened. Probably most of which I'll forget to share. Anyway I'm now working as an intern for a company doing small animated cartoon episodes. The pay isn't the best but, work is work and it's good experience. I'm also doing some freelance stuff on the side which helps. I'm looking for another job just in case, you never know when a better opportunity will come along.

I recently opened up my new web page, has some of my work on there. http://www.stevenmatarazzo.com

Sorry for the months without and update but, I doubt anybody really reads this anyway. :p :)

I can sit here and go on and on about some excuses that would keep me from posting here but...basically I just forgot about this. That and I've been busy with some projects, one of them really fantastic. I'll be sure to share it with you (That's right, I assume only one person reads this stuff...me oye...) when it's complete.

On Thursday I went to the DigitalLife Expo in the Javits Center (NYC) with my friends Todd and Gabe. It was pretty awesome, got a lot of free swag and got to play previews of Sonic the Hedgehog (next gen) and Sonic the Hedgehog - Genesis (Nintendo DS) along with Sonic Rivals (PSP). They also had this awesome Namco Pac-Man booth, had tons of cool stuff there, too bad the gift shop was so expensive! But, at least I got a CD-case, a T-Shirt, and some other cool things. I also was taking videos and photos with my camera but, in the FF XII booth some idiot ran up to me and asked me what I was doing, he said I couldn't take pictures of the monitors. I assured him I wasn't...too bad for him I already did! haha After that we went out to eat at Charlie Browns which was great.

Saturday morning I went to Englishtown Auction (Flea Market) and found a Sega Game Gear (Black - Special Flat Screen) and TV Tuner for $25, I offered $23 (because I didn't want to break another $20 bill) - Good news is the TV tuner works, bad news is the Game Gear's bottom of the screen is black. Luckily the tuner works on my blue Game Gear which I feared it wouldn't' according to the internet. I also got some other cool stuff like Back to the Future Part II trading cards, that's right 6 packs for $2! :D Well now I'm off to bed (for the second time) I flopped onto my bed from 6 to 10 today so I'm pretty awake...I caught the re-peat of Futurama on Adult Swim and then I went online and watched the Harvey Birdman on "the fix". Well, I'll be back! (If I don't forget again...which I'm pretty sure I will)

Things due by the end of the week: 1 Postcard, 3 similar ads, 1 corporate ID, online resumé, online portfolio, and a hard copy portfolio.

Well this should be fun to get done by Friday eh? (Maybe Thursday if we're lucky) Anyway I have a half-assed postcard done and all the work is online, I just have to find my resumé, it's on the computer somewhere. Just have to print out the work for the portfolio. I'm getting over this nasty cold, feeling better already, maybe I'll take something to help me sleep tonight...although if it works too well I won't wake up in the morning on time. Oh well.

Four more days... :]
